Or not so clever. Whatever. Here is the story. Jacki made some really cool Kodachrome Curtains. I even helped. Well, it went viral. The picture with the door in it as of right now has 21k views on flickr. Mostly nice comments. Some people concerned about losing the images on the slides and then there was Randy Garbin…..
Alright, so Randy Garbin is free to hate the curtains and what we did with the slides. I could really give a shit. He’s even free to bitch in the comments. I can’t believe Jacki didn’t block him a long time ago. Then there is the copyright infringement. Now you are just being a total dick. This post was made without Jacki’s permission to use the image which is clearly marked all rights reserved in flickr. Copyright infringement! Stay classy, Randy Garbin.
Starting the day by taking Bela for her walkies we spotted this….
It was only maybe an inch long, but still. I had no idea that there were lizards in Ohio. Let alone this late in the year. It is a nice day. About 67 out right now. Jacki got her giant quilt basted on the deck today. It looked like a major pain in the ass.
Here is the other reptile….
It’s a foam snake! Ok so it’s starsan (a sanitizer) foam coming out of the keg as the beer goes in. It just amused me that it followed the tubing up to the top of the carboy. Oh and that is a Rye Pale Ale going into keg there :)
How does that not make the news? Check it out on Bangornews (Maine newspaper) and from Wikileaks. This guys wife did us all a favor and put a bullet in the fucking nut job. She’ll probably go to jail for it instead of getting the metal she deserves.

I picked up this totally awesome Civil Defense Shelter V-777-1Shelter Radiation Detection Kit at an antique mall while I was home over the holidays. Check it out!
I don’t think this stuff has ever been use. The batteries even still had tape over them. The box showed as being packed in 1971, but the books are all from the early to mid 60′s.
Drop below the fold for more pictures and PDFs of the books. :)

I haven’t blogged in like forever. My laptop died and I got this new one with Vista on it. I have to say I have never hated an OS like I hate Vista. This thing is the biggest piece of shit I have ever used. I really want Google to make an OS. Fuck you Microsoft.
So on to happier things. Ellie loves this box. Her big butt doesn’t fit in here very well. I was putting a new hard drive into Jacki’s computer and this was Ellie’s way of helping I guess.
Here is Bela talking on the banana phone. I don’t know why Jacki has to humiliate the poor dog like this :)
Yesterday we made a trip to Cleveland mainly just to get Pierogi Palace pierogis. So we hit up West Side Market which is always fun. Brought home some good food from there. Then off to the Medina Antique Mall. This was defiantly one of the nicer antique malls that we have been to. It’s very bright and clean and doesn’t smell funky. The prices are kinda high, but we found a lot of cool stuff that you don’t see very often. Anyway I picked up this flask of awesomeness +10.
They had a bunch of these flasks so I have no idea if they are actually from Russia or not, but I don’t really care.
I’m warning you. Don’t do it! Unless of course you like dwarf tranny Sarah Palin videos. You have been warned. It’s under the fold and AWESOME.

Ok I don’t know anything about this company, but Jacki and I both love this commercial….
The animation is from a French company called H5. I like a lot of their stuff. Check them out here. All their stuff is on their website.
Check under the fold for another video from them.

Jacki has been having some weird urge to go watch dirt track racing. Well we don’t have a dirt track close, but we do have a Drag Strip right outside town. So we went out there last night to check it out. It doesn’t even cost anything to go. Some pictures and a couple videos….
Ok under the fold is a bit of a rant….
This was an idea that came about when I brought home several glass insulators from work. I was bored and picked them up out of ditches. So today I actually pulled the parts together and went for it. The one thing I didn’t have was a power supply. So a quick stop at Goodwill produced one for $1. You can’t beat that. Here are a couple pictures of the finished project. A complete rundown of the build under the fold.
