The Ben and Jerry’s ice cream book is really good. I also have a gelato/sorbet book that never worked really well with the ice cream maker.

Oh, we let the batter rest and all, we just couldn’t get it working with our crepe pan (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000TTKQIS/ref=cm_rdp_product). We finally wound up finishing them off in a regular pan. They tasted fine, just couldn’t cook them the way we wanted.

The only way that I’ve succeeded at crepes is if I let the batter sit and rest for a few hours or overnight in the fridge (previous crepe fails have taught me this). Once I did that, they were easier than pancakes.

That is exactly how I use my netbook and I agree – it’s great! My husband set mine up to run on Linux instead of Windows, so it’s very fast. I hardly ever turn my desktop on anymore. Also, the Chip ‘n Dip yarn I got last month is great!

I was going to get a Lenovo or Samsung netbook since my little laptop died, but Andy talked me into a new Mac – we’re beginning the conversion to an all-Mac household (and I’m pretty pumped about getting a new Mac). The capabilities of the netbooks are pretty high, though, and they’re so cute! Let me know how it holds up.
